Cooking with a twist
4 hours of Team Building activities, including cycling, bush walking and clue solving.
Interactive team building activity, where teams work together to create simple dishes or desserts.
Not as easy as it sounds.
Each Team is required to find the various cooking ingredients and cooking utensils by interpreting the clues given and partaking in mountain biking, bush walking, golf, and walking around the 300 acres of the Tarraleah estate to find them.
Additional challenges are also imposed on the team leaders.
Firewater
A team building game developing leadership skills and teamwork.
Purpose of game is to find the 3 essential parts to preparing a drink. These essential items are located around the Tarraleah Estate.
There are five components to the game;
- Hole in one golf
- Cycling around village.
- Walking (quoll track).
- Preparing a short play called “Firewater”. The 2 minute play is to be acted after dinner.
- Preparing the drink.
Each team has 20 minutes for each section.
And Just to make it Harder!
All the groups have a set of 50 questions to answer. These must be completed by the end of the game.
Hired or fired
Put those creative senses to use.
The teams are required to write and perform a 2 minute advert advertising why they should be hired for a job that is directly related to the company or department objectives.
The advert will be performed on stage in the great hall.
The conference organiser will decide wether they wish to hire or fire the team based on their advert.
Kayak Challenge
Get out into the pristine rainforest and paddle on the calm highland lakes.
Duration 5 hours
Participants will be required to seperate into small groups and delegate a team leader, whose task will be to ensure everyone in their team sticks close together.
The challenge is to kayak across the highland lake in search of the specified treasures. BUT there's a catch!
The team members must be no more than 5 meters from each other whilst kayaking and they cannot finish crossing the lake until the treasures are found.
After crossing the lake and finding the treasures the team will bike ride through the bush back to the starting point which will complete their team building challenge.
If anyone does not wish to participate in this activity they can simply enjoy a kayak around the highland lake exploring the wilderness.
Shakespearean plays in the great hall
We have a full stage at Tarraleah in the Great hall. What better place to put on a play!
The teams are required to write and perform a 5 minute play on the topic that is given to them. All teams have the same topic.
The play must include humour, a speech spoken in Shakespearean style.
Each team will perform their play after dinner and teams are awarded points via the clapometer. The louder the audience clap...
